2. Saskatchewan’s Geology Saskatchewan’s Precambrian Rocks In Saskatchewan, the Precambrian can be divided into different time periods. The older Precambrian is a time of intense mountain building and tectonic and volcanic activity. At this time, there were two continents – the Superior and the Churchill Continents.
